Dissolution Clause
In the event that COOP Charities, an Oregon nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is dissolved, the assets of the organization shall be distributed exclusively for charitable purposes. Any remaining assets shall be distributed to one or more organizations that are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that have purposes substantially similar to those of COOP Charities, as determined by the Board of Directors at the time of dissolution.
